I had a nice time overall, but I’ll be honest, the trip felt a lot tougher physically than I was expecting. Maybe I missed something in the description, but it seemed like the difficulty was made to sound a little easier than it actually was.

Trip itself was nice, and I’m glad I went, but the guide felt bit rushed most of the time. He definitely knew area well, but he didn’t explain things in a very clear way. He wasn’t rude or anything, just didn’t feel as professional as I was expecting

"Great small group experience"
Our group had 12 people, which felt really manageable and made the whole trip feel friendly and relaxed. Booking was straightforward too, though I do wish the updates had come a little sooner. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely consider booking with them again.

"Activities were okay, but answers kept changing"
The activities had some fun moments, but overall they weren’t amazing. A few parts felt rushed, and what made it more frustrating was getting different answers depending on who we asked. It was hard to know what was actually going on, which kind of took away from the experience.

I booked through expeditions.com and, as I kind of expected from the updates, everything stayed on track. No random delays or last-minute changes popped up, so I just assumed the rest of the trip would go smoothly too, and it did. Made the whole thing a lot less stressful

"Fun at first, then the safety stuff got weird"
The trip had some really nice moments, and I was enjoying myself at the start. But then the whole safety side of things started to feel shaky. The briefing was super rushed, some of the gear looked like it had seen better days, and when a few of us asked questions, the guide basically brushed them off. At first I was like, okay, maybe I’m overthinking it, but no, that didn’t sit right with me. Nothing actually went wrong, thankfully, but I never felt fully relaxed or confident. For what we paid, I expected way better safety management and clearer instructions

I really loved that the trip didn’t feel staged at all. The guides shared real stories, food, and traditions, but also made space for locals to speak for themselves, which made it feel so much more genuine. Such a good experience!

The trip seemed like a good deal at first, but then extra fees popped up later, which was a bit frustrating. Support did explain everything clearly enough, but I really wish the full price had been shown from the start

"Okay trip, but the ship felt worn out"
The trip itself was alright, but I couldn’t help noticing how tired the ship felt in a lot of places. The cabin was clean enough, which I appreciated, but there were definitely areas that looked old, scuffed, or in need of a refresh. Nothing was awful, and the staff seemed to keep things moving fine, but for the price I expected it to feel a bit nicer. Overall, it was decent, just not something I’d be excited to book again.

I had to cancel my trip, and like I said, the refund did come through in the end. The process was just slower than I expected. Customer service answered me, but not always quickly, so I had to follow up a couple of times. Like I said, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but I do think they could be clearer about how long refunds are supposed to take...

Our guide was fantastic. They knew so much about the area and the wildlife, and no matter what random question we threw out, they had a clear, thoughtful answer. It made us feel like we were in really good hands the whole time and added so much to the trip

"Had an issue, but they got it fixed"
I booked a trip on expeditions.com and somehow my dates were wrong after checkout. No idea if it was a glitch or whoever runs this needs to tighten things up, but I was stressed since it definitely wasn’t a cheap trip.

I emailed support and heard back the next day. It took a couple back-and-forth messages, but they eventually sorted it out and sent me the updated booking with the right dates.

So yeah, not the smoothest start, but they were polite and did fix the problem. I’d probably use them again, just with a closer eye on everything before and after checkout

The transport showed up on time, which I appreciated. The ride was fine overall, but the seats started getting uncomfortable after around a couple of hours.

"Pretty much what I expected"
The gear was just okay. I kind of figured it might be a little worn going in, and a few pieces definitely felt that way, which pretty much confirmed my first impression. It worked fine, but nothing about it really changed my mind.
